  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Penalized by who?? Is it deducted from your paycheck?? Do you pay it to the IRS??

If the Obamacare health payment, it is not a tax, what is it??

Tell us about one such fee that is collected by the IRS under a law passed by Congress, that is not a tax.

I think that Justice Roberts was in an ideological pickle. He knew that overturning the ACA would upset the apple cart in a big way, so he came up with that taxation argument on the individual mandate as a way to let the whole thing stand. It's a penalty, not a tax. Some of those other things that Randy cited above are taxes, but they're so targeted that I don't really get worked up about it.

By the way, I do not believe that Obama or the vast majority of progressive/liberals hate the US. The likely love it as much as the vast majority of conservatives do.

They simply want to employ a different set of rules under which the country is operated.

To me they are just misguided, naive, do gooder, socialists. They do not reside the the same reality as the rest of the universe does.

WASHINGTON -- Some families could get priced out of health insurance due to what's being called a glitch in President Barack Obama's overhaul law. IRS regulations issued Wednesday failed to fix the problem as liberal backers of the president's plan had hoped.
As a result, some families that can't afford the employer coverage that they are offered on the job will not be able to get financial assistance from the government to buy private health insurance on their own. How many people will be affected is unclear.
The Obama administration says its hands were tied by the way Congress wrote the law. Officials said the administration tried to mitigate the impact. Families that can't get coverage because of the glitch will not face a tax penalty for remaining uninsured, the IRS rules said.
"This is a very significant problem, and we have urged that it be fixed," said Ron Pollack, executive director of Families USA, an advocacy group that supported the overhaul from its early days. "It is clear that the only way this can be fixed is through legislation and not the regulatory process."
But there's not much hope for an immediate fix from Congress, since the House is controlled by Republicans who would still like to see the whole law repealed.
The affordability glitch is one of a series of problems coming into sharper focus as the law moves to full implementation.
Starting Oct. 1, many middle-class uninsured will be able to sign up for government-subsidized private coverage through new health care marketplaces known as exchanges. Coverage will be effective Jan. 1. Low-income people will be steered to expanded safety-net programs. At the same time, virtually all Americans will be required to carry health insurance, either through an employer, a government program, or by buying their own plan.
Bruce Lesley, president of First Focus, an advocacy group for children, cited estimates that close to 500,000 children could remain uninsured because of the glitch. "The children's community is disappointed by the administration's decision to deny access to coverage for children based on a bogus definition of affordability," Lesley said in a statement.
The problem seems to be the way the law defined affordable.

    One major problen there however:

    =======================

ObamaCare state exchanges suffer outright rejection by half the states

By Rick Manning - 12/13/12 11:49 AM ET

The implementation of ObamaCare assumed that the states would do the work of setting up individual state exchanges to provide a clearinghouse of health insurance information for the public, and provide the mechanism that triggered enforcement of the law against those employers who were accused of violations.

There are just 33 problems. That’s the number of states that have chosen to either not implement a state exchange at all or engage in a hybrid system that leaves many of the problems up to the federal government, as is the case with Illinois, Delaware and North Carolina, or which remain undecided on whether to accept the responsibility for developing the exchange.

Already, 25 states representing 45 percent of the U.S. population have told the Obama administration that they will not be spending the time, energy and effort to build a state exchange, when ultimately the federal government would have to approve virtually every decision that was made. These states have effectively told the Feds that they won’t own the vast array of problems created under ObamaCare when they won’t have the flexibility or ability to fix them.

The mandate piece of it is a penalty that applies only to "free riders", a relatively small portion of the population. There are some other modest, targeted taxes associated with the ACA, but to make it sound as if the entire country is getting a massive tax increase is deeply disingenuous.

Look, I'm not going to defend Obamacare (aka Romneycare, aka the Heritage Foundation's health care proposal from the 90's) because I don't really like it. The "free market" approach is overpriced, inefficient and unfair. If it were up to me, we'd have a single payer system like Canada's and yes, I'd be happy to pay more in taxes for such a program.

A major reason health care has cost more in the United States while providing less efficient health care has been the health insurance industry. A very large percentage of health care costs in the Untied States go to non health providers.

On the matter of the Affordable Health Care Act (Obama-care/tax)

That farcical use of a law by the Feds to grab power and control peoples lives is now even turning upon the unions who have discovered how high the penalties they will have to pay for their members cadilac class health plans.

The unions supported Obama and the Democratic party, and now they have discoverd the stab in the back all of them shall pay.

Obama-care was passed so the Federal government under progressives and socialists such as President Obama can control via law and regulation as much of the nation and people as they can.

Power and control, that is all they care about.

In answer to your question of why Obama hates the USA?

Best I can put togeather from his own words and actions and background is this:

He sees America, our ways of life, freedoms, Constitution and free market and armed forces as having been responsible for over 200 years of global suppression and oppression of the rest of the world.

The matter of our nation coming from under dominion of England and having ties with Israel accounts for his hate of both of those nations as well, so we suffer his wrath from 'guilt by association' for 'crimes done centuries past.'

He sees all nations from a globalist viewpoint and the United States must be 'fundamentally transformed' to fit the rest of the world by socialism or communism and reduced in wealth, status, power and more until all of the other nations are equal to us.

Obama himself is, in my opinion - narcissistic, sociopathic, pathological liar and suffers from a god-king complex and holds himself to be infoulable and is incapable of admitting to doing anything wrong.

He is completely immoral and cares nothing for this nation. Look to the example of his UN speech soon after Benghazi, in it he blamed a film maker and declared "my admin had nothing to do with the video...' to which he passed the buck onto America and our citizens in one shot.

He does not see himself as many Americans do, and that is why he hates this nation so much.

You are projecting your hatred of the President onto him. Your appraisal of him is distorted by your hatred, and not enlightened by any humanity on your part. You present no facts, no insights, just the delusions of a right wing crank.
